Congratulations to the CXT® Inc. Graduates of the NPCA Master Precaster Program

L.B. Foster’s subsidiary, CXT® Inc., attended The Precast Show held by The National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA), in Denver, Colorado, from February 8-10, 2024. At the show, NPCA Master Precaster program graduates are recognized with gold hard hats and a diploma. CXT employees among the graduates this year were Brandan Wheeler, Quality Manager I, Johnnie Parnell, QC Supervisor, and James Ford, QC Supervisor.
The NPCA Master Precaster program consists of six courses in NPCA’s Production and Quality School (PQS) curriculum that includes production, safety, technical, quality control, and leadership.
Wheeler, Parnell, and Ford have each been actively working on this personal development goal. For some, this journey began as early as 2017.
Wheeler reflected on his journey, “Precast is a never-ending learning experience. There’s always going to be a new challenge to face and new educated decisions to make. Always take the time to get as much education as you can in your field of work to be the best resource possible.”
Parnell said that, after he completed his initial QC Technician certifications, “I realized that I didn’t want to stop learning about what I was doing.” And so, he set his sights on the Master Precaster program. He said, “The gold hard hat is another milestone towards my continued education.”
Ford, the QC supervisor at our Nampa, ID, facility said, “Now having the knowledge from all the PQS classes, I can pass that knowledge to our organization here in Nampa.”
Graduating from the Master Precaster program is a significant achievement that demonstrates their dedication to excellence in precast concrete. Their commitment to advance their knowledge and skills sets them apart in the industry. Congratulations to our Master Precaster graduates.
