TOUGHCOAT® Insulated Joints

Toughcoat Insulated Joints are designed for heavy-duty rail locations. Designs are available for most rail sections 80 pounds and heavier. Core bars are first sandblasted to bright metal, followed by an adhesive-primed coating, and total encapsulation in polyurethane to a controlled thickness. The core bars are full rail contact-style. Six- and four-hole bars are produced. Joint kits include insulated core bars, washer plates, end post, bushings and fasteners for field installation. Double rail joints are also available.
