L.B. Foster threaded pump column pipe and micropile is manufactured to your exacting specifications on high-speed automated threading machines. Our pump column pipe is produced in sizes ranging from 4” nominal through 14” nominal.

The L.B. Foster Threaded Products facility is located in Magnolia, Texas and meets agricultural, municipal and industrial waterwell needs with quality water system tubular products and services. This innovative plant utilizes advanced technology threading and conveyance equipment to maximize production capacity and expedite deliveries.

The facility was designed from the ground up to incorporate equipment in a single flow manufacturing line that fully expedites the movement of water system pipe through advanced threading processes. The use of new Okuma pipe threading equipment assures the production of threaded pipe column that meets the most exacting client specifications. This advanced technology assures exacting specs are met to provide perfect matchup.

Pipe Threading Equipment and Fabrication Capabilities

• roll cutting for light wall pipes as well as bandsaw cutting for heavy walled and high strength pipes, in excess of 14” diameter and 1” wall thickness, for mild structural grades as well as high strength steel tubulars

• threading of micropile casing from 4.5” through 14” diameter, with max. thread lengths of 5”

• various CNC thread patterns, including 4TPI micropile threads, as well as client provided custom thread patterns and thread matching services are available

• welding / installation of micropile cutting tools, i.e. J-teeth, tri-cones, dragbits

• full length drifting
