Complete Additive and Dye Injection Systems for Petroleum and Petrochemical Applications Worldwide

Chemtec manufactures a number of products used to inject liquid additives and dyes. These products can be found at hundreds of petroleum loading racks throughout the world. The most widely used Chemtec injectors are the ProPAC5 “smart” injector and the MiniBLOCK injection block. Chemtec also manufactures injectors for other applications including ethyl mercaptan, truck re-fueling and truck off-loading.

Skid-mounted Injection Systems

Chemtec manufactures complete additive and dye injection systems for petroleum and petrochemical applications worldwide. Most additve and dye skids are equipped with the following components:

  • Storgage tank with level gauge
  • Steel containment pan
  • Pump/motor assembly with starter/breaker
  • Additive/dye injectors
  • Walkway/platform
  • Interconnecting piping, tubing, and electrical

FleetPAC Truck Injection System

FleetPAC Truck injection system is designed to automatically inject ACES diesel fuel catalyst into fuel holding tanks based on the data entered by the driver following completion of tank refueling operations. FleetPAC may be used to inject into truck saddletanks, fuel tanks for mobile refrigeration units, automotive tanks, fuel tanks for heavy equipment, marine diesel fuel tanks, and stationary engine fuel tanks. For typical operations, up to three (3) separate tanks may be programmed for automatic injection of catalyst.

DrumPAC Injection System

DrumPAC is a complete injection system designed to inject a variety of liquid additives and dyes from a drum into a process stream. The DrumPAC utilizes a microprocessor-based controller in conjunction with a high performance metering pump to accurately measure and record injections. The DrumPAC also includes supply and discharge connection lines and fittings as well as a vent for the drum (drum and drum dolly are not included).

TransPAC Injection System (for fuel off-loading)

TransPAC is a complete stand-alone injection system designed to accurately inject performance additives during bulk fuel off-loading or in-line fuel transfer operations. Easy to use, a bulk fuel truck’s off-loading hose is simply connected to the inlet of the unit, and additve is automatically metered into the fuel at the prescribed injection rate. When fuel off-loading ceases, the electronic controller records transaction data resulting in verifiable accuracy.

Chemtec MiniBLOCK Injector

The Chemtec MiniBLOCK provides users with a complete stainless steel fluid metering block for injecting a wide variety of fuel additives or dyes. MiniBLOCK serves as a ”slave device” to a user-supplied “master controller”. The product is accurate, reliable and compatible with a wide range of chemicals. The oval gear design offers high accuracy and low pressure drop.

ProPAC5/6 Injector

The ProPAC5/6 is a modern, multi-purpose, microprocessor based electronic injector designed to inject a broad range of fuel additives and dyes. Common applications include the injection of fuel additives, petroleum dyes, ethyl mercaptan, marker additives, and emission reduction additives used at product terminals, refineries, pipelines, and marine terminals. The ProPAC5/6 incorporates a Multi-Purpose Design that can be used as a:

Single Additive Injector - used to inject one additive or dye into a single product line.
Dual Additive Injector - simultaneously injects two additives into a single main product line when two (2) MiniBLOCK injectors are installed and utilized.
Batch injector - used to inject additive based on either time, known main product volume to be treated, or other non-pulse based input.

High Flow Injectors

Chemtec manufactures custom injectors for a wide range of applications and flow rates. These injectors can be supplied in a "slave" version when an external controller is used or in a "smart" version utilizing Chemtec's ProPAC5/6 controller.

Storage Tanks & Containment

Chemtec fabricates and and supplies a variety of aboveground tanks for storing hazardous liquids.

  • Horizontal & vertical steel tanks, UL 142 rated 
  • Stainless Steel Tote Tanks
  • Capacities fromÄ€ 350 gallon through 10,000 gallon
  • Includes vent, manway & openings 
  • All tanks are pressure tested

Chemtec also fabricates steel containment pans,access ladders, steps, and platforms for storage tanks.

  • Pans are designed for 110% or 125% capacity
  • Optional rain shields

Pumps & Pump Racks

Chemtec pump assemblies can be used in a wide variety of additive and dye applications. Pump assemblies include all necessary valves and fittings. Pump racks are fabricated from structural steel and then hot dip galvanized or painted. Every completed pump assembly is then fluid-tested to ensure proper fit and operation.


  • Completely assembled, plumbed & wired
