L.B. Foster Company was founded in 1902 to provide used, or relay, rail to coal mines. Because of our rich heritage in the rail industry, L.B. Foster has been able to maintain an extensive selection of used rail and used rail accessories. Each piece of our relay rail is expertly inspected and graded according to L.B. Foster standards for relay rail.

 

Along with our inventory of relay rail we also offer services such as track removal, estimating, track inspection and track relocation.

 

All aspects of track removal are available, including rail, tie, bridge and signal removal, road crossing restoration and scrap tie disposal. These services are offered using both on and off-track equipment.

 

Our skilled team of estimators is available at any time to inspect a job site and pass our knowledge over to you.

 

Our track specialists are available to work with you to inspect your sidings and can demonstrate methods that will help maintain efficient, economical operations.

 

Finally, whether the track is continuously welded rail or jointed rail, our team has the capabilities to pick up and relocate your track. Delivery and unloading of the jointed or welded rail can be done at your desired location.
