Plant-Applied FBE and ARO Pipe Coatings for Oil and Gas Steel Line Pipe

L.B. Foster Coated Products is ISO 9001:2000 Registered and assures consistent quality in its application of plant-applied corrosion protection for steel line pipe and pipe piling. This pipe coating facility is located on the site of the Birmingham, Alabama operations of American Steel Pipe (ACIPCO).

This modern facility applies Fusion Bond Epoxy (FBE), Abrasion Resistant Overcoating (ARO) and internal linings on 10.75” to 24” diameter steel line pipe with up to .562” of wall thickness and 100’ of length. FBE provides field-proven protection of pipes and pipe pilings in service in the harshest environments. ARO offers tough physical protection for FBE coatings on steel line pipe.
